What is the Local Payment?

The Local Payment is a necessary expense that covers a variety of on-the-road costs. All tours maintain their local payment fund in US dollars as this currency is accepted in any country you may happen to visit. As a result we need to quote the local payment cost separately to our tour price.

What your local payment covers varies from tour to tour, but typically includes things like

  • border payments
  • food and drinks
  • park fees

Summary of this 4x4 Safari

Pure 4x4 adventure. Unexplored, desolate and uncivilized. Two Transfrontier areas of majestic contrast, of mountains and deserts. Of rock and sand. Of exhilaration and challenge.

Visiting off the beaten track destinations including the Cedarberg Mountains, the  Kalahari and the  Namaqualand region.

We endeavour to make this safari the ultimate off road adventure, where Land Rovers are blooded, where they come of age. An extinct habitat, water is gold, shade a luxury and the will to see the end a necessity.

The moon always shines full, and the sun unrelentless. A safari to the desert regions of South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
