About Budget Overland Tours - Accommodated
Not everyone is a camper. African Budget Safaris recognises this and we have a great selection of Accommodated Overland options that cover most of East, Central and Southern Africa.
Accommodated Tours spend the night in basic 2-3 star chalets, bungalows, traditional huts, permanent tents and occasionally youth hostels. Accommodation is usually 2 per room (sharing) except in East Africa where it is dormitory style. Upgrades are usually available in East Africa at each establishment if required. These upgrades will depend on availability and you will only be able to book an upgrade on arrival. The difference in cost will be for your own expense.
If you are a Single Traveller a Single supplement will apply. This supplement is applicable to all Southern African tours. It is important to note that for most East African tours no single supplement will be applicable.
Please note that on a Accommodated Overland Tour there is still an amount of participation that is required and usualy takes the form of assisting the cook with meal prepertion on a roster basis.
Accommodated Overland Tours are a great way to see Africa from a group level but with a degree of comfort along the way.
