Entering the Greater Kruger Park at one of the southern gates this unforgettable African safari adventure begins! We venture into prime game viewing territories in search of some of the amazing wild animals found here. Kruger Park is South Africa’s flagship game park and top travel destination, covering nearly 2 million hectares of unspoiled wilderness.
Kruger is home to an unrivalled diversity of plants and animals, including huge populations of Africa’s Big Five - elephant, rhino, leopard, lion and buffalo.
Our game drives in Kruger Park take us in search of the Big Five and a variety of other wildlife, such as giraffe, zebra, cheetah, hyena and various antelope species. Game drives in Kruger National Park offer excellent photographic opportunities given the abundance of birds, mammals and reptiles inhabiting its diverse habitats.
After a full day of game viewing, bird watching and taking photographs in this vast game park we return to our safari camp. Our Kruger camp is surrounded by relatively open savannah plains dotted with Knob Thorn and Marula trees and features a restaurant and shop. One of the largest camps in Kruger, the rest camp is said to be the best camp for spotting the big cats - lion, leopard and cheetah. Although there are many predators in this part of Kruger the safari camp is safe, as all of the rest camps in Kruger are fenced in to protect visitors from roaming predators.
Meals included: Dinner only.
Accommodation: Camping (with shared facilities / hot and cold water)
With an early start on day two we have a snack of coffee and rusks before heading into Kruger Park. Today our trip takes us game viewing along some of Kruger Park’s best routes in terms of the diverse landscapes, habitats and sheer abundance of wildlife.

The exhilarating night drive is an amazing experience giving you a chance to witness the nocturnal activities of the many wild animals within the park.
