Summary of this Budget Lodge Safari

The four day budget Kruger Park safari departs from Oliver Thambo International Airport - Johannesburg or Nelspruit in South Africa on a daily basis. Accommodation on this game-viewing safari is in luxury en‐suite tents set in a private camp in South Africa's premier game reserve, the Kruger Park.

On this Kruger safari we take exciting night game drives in the evenings and spend two full days game viewing and exploring this expansive park. We go on early morning game viewing walks sighting wildlife Kruger Park is famous for, including the "Big Five". At the luxury tented camp we relax in the wilderness and enjoy traditional Bushveld meals.

The luxury tented safari in Kruger Park ends after breakfast on the fourth day when we depart for Nelspruit or the airport in Johannesburg.

Itinerary for this Budget Lodge Safari

Day 1: From Johannesburg into the Kruger Park - South Africa (D)

The 4 day Kruger luxury tented safari departs from the airport in Johannesburg or from Nelspruit from where we travel into the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Kruger Park is South Africa's premier game viewing destination home to not only the famous "Big Five" of Africa but also 150 mammal species. The Kruger Park boasts an impressive 507 bird species, a wide variety of insects, reptiles and amphibians, making Kruger the ultimate wildlife destination. Upon arrival at our camp in Kruger we settle in and head off on our first game drive - an adventurous night drive. We return to the camp after dark to tuck into a delicious dinner in the wild. Accommodation on this game viewing safari is in luxury en‐suite tents set in a private camp in a wilderness area that is set apart from the regular commercial camps making this Kruger safari an authentic African bush experience.

Day 2: Kruger National Park - South Africa (B/L/D)

Rising at dawn with the wildlife on the second day, we venture back into the Kruger Park as the gates open for an exciting day of game viewing. The game drives take us into the expanse of this extensive game reserve through Big Five territory filled with surprises. The wildlife activity at the waterholes often looks just like a National Geographic scene especially at sunrise. We spend the full day in Kruger game viewing, bird watching and visiting the various waterholes along our way. At the end of a satisfying day of game viewing we return to the safari camp for sundowners and some relaxation before setting off on our second adventurous evening game viewing drive. After an exciting day out in the wilderness enjoying the rich game viewing that the Kruger Park offers we settle down at camp to enjoy a traditional Bushveld meal in the laid back atmosphere of the bush camp.

Day 3: Kruger National Park - South Africa (B/L/D)

On our third day we get up at sunrise to make the most of a full day of game viewing in the Kruger Park again entering as the gates open. The day is spent enjoying some of the best game viewing Africa has to offer in South Africa's most famous game reserve. The day is spent enjoying superb game viewing, Big Five sightings and bird watching opportunities. After an eventful day of game viewing we head back to the luxury tented camp for evening sundowners. Once we have spent some time relaxing at camp we set off on our final night game drive. The second full day of game viewing in the Kruger Park draws to a close as we return to camp for a hearty traditional Bushveld dinner and time to unwind.

Day 4: Kruger National Park to Johannesburg - South Africa (B)

On the fourth day we set off on an early morning bush walk before breakfast, for one last encounter with the rich wildlife of Kruger Park. We then head back to Nelspruit and onwards to Oliver Thambo International Airport - Johannesburg completing this rewarding Kruger Park safari.

The departure point for the Safari is from Oliver Thambo International Airport at the following times:
Moday to Saturday departures: 10.30am
Sunday departures: 13.10pm.
