The 7-day Budget Lodge Elephant Safari starts and ends at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and includes:

• Full day of Game viewing in Hwange National Park
• Sunset boat cruise and game drive in Chobe National Park
• Guided Tour of the impressive Victoria Falls

This affordable lodge safari to Zimbabwe and Botswana offers excellent game viewing opportunities, especially for elephant sightings.

Day 1: Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe

On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe you will be met and transferred to the overnight Guest House.

You have the remainder of the day at leisure for optional adventure activities that are on offer at Victoria Falls like boat cruises, bungee jumping, elephant back safaris and many more.

Days 2 & 3: Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park – Zimbabwe BLD, BLD

After breakfast you will be picked up and transferred to Hwange National Park. You will stay 2 nights on a private concession just outside Hwange National Park. Your game activities, park fees, meals and drinks are included. 

Hwange National Park is one of Africa's finest havens for wildlife and is home to vast herds of elephant, buffalo, and zebra and has a very large concentration of giraffe. It is also home to many predators and endangered species plus very large and varied birdlife. The whole of the next day is spent exploring this magnificent park in Zimbabwe.

Day 4 & 5: Hwange National Park to Chobe National Park – Botswana BD, BD

Today you will cross into Botswana and head to the game-rich Chobe National Park. You can enjoy the rest of the afternoon on a sunset cruise along the Chobe River.

On the Chobe River sunset cruise you can watch elephants, hippos, lions, crocodiles and a variety of birds and more without having to reach for our binoculars – you’ll be close enough for close-up photographs.

Chobe National Park boasts one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa and is known for its large elephant herds and its lion population.

The next morning an open-vehicle game drive in Chobe Park is included. After lunch, you have the remainder of the day at leisure or have the option to book another sunset cruise (optional and for own account).

Day 6: Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe B

After breakfast you will be picked up, leaving Botswana behind and transferring back to Victoria Falls.

This afternoon you will explore the Victoria Falls on a guided tour. Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and this tour you will get to experience the thundering sound and impressive spray that gives the Falls its local name, Mosi-oa-Tunya which means the "Smoke that Thunders".

There will still be time for optional adventure activities in Zimbabwe should you wish to book more.

Day 7: Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe, End of tour B

This Budget Botswana & Zimbabwe Lodge Safari ends after breakfast in Victoria Falls. Depending on your departure time, you will be taken to Victoria Falls Airport for your onward flight. We hope to welcome you on one of our African adventures again soon.
