Itinerary for this Budget Lodge Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar D
Upon arrival in Zanzibar for the Accommodated Budget Tour of Zanzibar you will be met at the airport and transferred to Matemwe Beach Village for your first overnight stay. Dinner is included at your hotel.
Matemwe Beach is a small guesthouse, located on a long stretch of classic palm-lined, white sand beach on the the North East coast of Zanzibar Island. Just off-shore from the guesthouse is the world-famous Mnemba Atoll, containing some of the best diving in East Africa. Matemwe really is close to the classical notion of paradise. Matemwe offers simple yet funky rooms, each furnished in a beach style with self-contained bathrooms and lots of little extras to make your stay more comfortable. With plenty of space to relax in the sun or shade, a beautiful swimming pool, stunning bar and restaurant, and an on-site PADI dive school, you can choose to unwind or get active.

Day 2 to 4: Matemwe Beach – Zanzibar BD
Day two, three and four of this Zanzibar safari are spent at your own leisure at Matemwe Beach Village, set on its own along a sandy stretch of beach.
Enjoy lazy days by the swimming pool or the white sandy beaches of Zanzibar's Matemwe. The relaxed atmosphere will see you making yourself at home amongst the books, games and huge cushions – all well placed for your enjoyment.
The on-site 5 star Padi dive centre organizes scuba diving, dive courses and snorkelling to various reefs, including the world famous Mnemba Atoll, which lies just opposite Matemwe.
The richness of its cultural heritage and the lure of the exotic spices make Zanzibar one of the most sorts after holiday destination. The main cultural attraction of Zanzibar is Stone Town with its winding alleys; white washed old buildings, bustling bazaars, mosques, exotic architecture and influences of different cultures. Spend a few days on excursions, from visitng the ancient streets of Stone Town, to Jozani Forest, Spice Tours, Sunset Dhow cruises, or a trip to swim with dolphins at Kizimkazi (these tours are at an additional cost). Dinner & breakfast are included.
