About Budget Safaris
Our aim at African Budget Safaris to bring you the best value for money Safaris and Tours available on the African continent, without compromising on quality. We have categorised each Safari into one of the following 4 categories: Camping, Lodge, Exclusive and fifty plus Safaris. Regardless of your requirements we will have the perfect Safari for you.
On a Budget Camping Safari you can expect to spend your nights in two man dome tents that are spacious and well ventilated, ensuring maximum comfort. Camping Safaris generally require an active participation element from you. This can be from putting up your own tent, to helping with meal preparation on a roster basis. Camping Safaris are ideal for those clients wishing play an active role in the running of their Safari. It is however important to note that your level of participation is generally restricted to the campsite area.
Our Lodge Safaris are generally conducted in accommodation facilities that are in the 2 to 3 Star bracket. The accommodation comes in the form of dorm, single, double/twin and occasionally triple accommodated rooms. We make use of a variety of accommodation facilities from Hotels, Guesthouses, Cabins and Backpackers.
Our Exclusive Budget Safaris are Safaris that are chosen because they forfill certain critiria that make them stand above the rest. The Exclusive Budget Safari generally means travelling in a small group which ensures more one-on-one interaction with the Guide. Exclusive Budget Safaris require minimal to no participation. This type of Safari generally includes a larger portion of activities in the tour price; the vehicles used are in on the whole smaller and are often 4x4 in nature. Exclusive Budget Safaris often make use of exclusive camping sites that are not open to the public ensuring privacy. It is often the case that you your nights' accommodation during the duration of your Safari will be made up of a combination of lodge and camping ensuring a nice mix.
Fifty Plus Safaris are Safaris that are specially designed for the more mature traveller in mind. As the name implies these tours are for clients over the age of 50. These Safaris ensure that you will travel with other clients of the same mindset and age bracket. The Safaris are generally speaking more comfortable in terms of the accommodation used, the vehicle choice and the distances travelled between destinations.
We carefully screen each and every one of our packages, making 100% sure that our product offering delivers more than it promises and you the client will be more than satisfied with your final choice.
