ACCOMODATION DESCRIPTION
Your accommodation in Cape Town is stylishly housed by an Afro-Victorian mansion, complete with a pool and more spacious balconies, palm-fringed sundecks and more mountain views than you could possibly hope for.
Set in chilled parkland, but within walking distance of the city centre, the accommodation offers all accommodation options from shared dorms to private rooms with en suite bathrooms in the Guest House section. You will be able to cater for yourselves in the stylishly renovated well-equipped kitchen, or fill up on delicious food (and cocktails) at the legendary sociable Kumasi Bar.The Lodge is a relaxed, more-ish comfort zone, known for its outstanding security and friendly staff.
TOUR DESCRIPTION
CAPE TOWN ON FOOT
Walk in the footsteps of seafarers, explorers, slaves and settlers.
Discover Cape Town’s past and present and her captivating
architecture. This
2-½ hour guided walk is the best introduction to Cape Town
and allows you to find your bearings and give you a real ‘feel’
for the city.
CAPE PENINSULA TOUR
Travel along the spectacular coastline of the Peninsula through
charming historical villages. Informative and humorous commentary
keeps you entertained as the scenic route takes you to Hout Bay
where you can board an optional boat cruise to view a Cape Fur seal
colony on Duiker Island. In the naval village of Simonstown you
visit more wildlife, this time the endangered (and entertaining)
African penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach. Then an exhilarating
downhill cycle through the free roaming wildlife of the Cape Point
Nature Reserve takes you to the mythical meeting place of the two
great o ceans
at Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. After a delicious picnic
lunch alongside the ocean, enjoy a leisurely hike to the southwestern
most point of Africa. A full day of interest and activity that will
have you experiencing the “Fairest Cape of all”.
