Kenya Exclusive 4x4 Camping Safari

An exclusive camping Safari to Several of Kenya's top Game Parks aimed at the traveler that wants to experience the wilderness in its most natural and unspoilt form.

You will stay in Private Campsites situated in private conservancies that are designed for privacy, comfort and relaxation - due to the limited human acess to these consevancy areas the wildlife behaviour is more natural to those habituated to vehicles in bigger more frequented parks.

However, it is important to note that the consevancies are close to Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara. Game drives are conducted in comfortable Land Rovers built with game viewing in mind. Each days game drive will be carried out in the mornings and evening, and a daily walking is available to you.

The tour is designed for your optimal bushveld experience, in accordance to this we travel to areas abundant in game as well as take you to picturesque landscapes and various habitats in the hope of seeing the widest diversity of wildlife.

This 7 day safari departs from Nairobi arriving in a private conservancy a few miles North of the Amboseli National Park - explore the park and all its glory including great views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

We then set up camp in a conservancy immediately adjacent to Lake Nakuru for two nights allowing you to experience the spectacular display of flamingos that blanket the lake - a truly spectacular sight.

Its then off to the Masai Mara, to indulge in another two night stay in the seclusion of your own private camp within an private conservancy area. We conduct game drives inside the Masai Mara to witness the plains and savannahs dotted with wildlife.

Day 1 Sunday: Nairobi to Selenkay Conservation Area

Meet and transfer to your safari vehicle to be driven from Nairobi to Selenkay Conservation Area (102 miles, 4 hours), arriving for a late lunch after setting up camp. Evening game drive to explore the Conservancy. Dinner and overnight in the camp at Selenkay.

Day 2 Monday: Amboseli National Park & Selenkay

Early breakfast and then drive through the bush into Amboseli National Park for good views of Kilimanjaro and close-up observation of elephants, as well as many other species. Return to Selenkay after a picnic lunch. Afternoon escorted walk to an authentic Maasai village. Dinner followed by a night drive to seek out the nocturnal animals. Overnight in the camp at Selenkay.

Day 3 Tuesday: Nairobi & Congreve Conservancy

Morning drive back to Nairobi for lunch and on to Congreve Conservancy (190 miles), arriving in late afternoon. Set up camp and then take an evening walk in the Congreve Conservancy. Dinner and overnight in the camp.

Day 4 Wednesday: Lake Nakuru National Park

Early morning departure after a continental breakfast for a full day in Lake Nakuru National Park, with a picnic lunch. In addition to the spectacle of the masses of flamingo we expect to see rhino in addition to many other species and have an excellent chance of sighting leopard. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Thursday: Ol Kinyei Conservancy

After breakfast, pack up camp and drive to Ol Kinyei Conservancy in the Masai Mara (160 miles) to set up camp. This is a long drive over a rough road and a stop is taken in Narok town for lunch en route. After setting up camp take an evening drive into the Ol Kinyei Conservancy to see some of the wildlife for which the Mara is famous. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 Friday: Mara Reserve

An early breakfast followed by a full morning in the Mara Reserve, taking a picnic lunch. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Saturday: Nairobi 

Breakfast, then pack up camp and return to Nairobi (160 miles, 5 hours), arriving about 2 pm.
