Vic Falls to Maun Botswana 4x4 Safari

Experience the best on offer at Vic Falls the Adventure Capital of Africa. Here you can marvel at the mighty Zambezi River as it drops away into one of the world's most spectacular Waterfalls. You can take part in some of the most thrilling activities on offer in Africa, including White Water Rafting, Elephant Back Safaris, Lion Encouters and much more.

From Vic Falls you will head off on a exclusive 4x4 camping Safari through Botswana. Sleep under the African Stars and delight in the sounds of the African Bush, this Safari is a true African Experience. We make use of secluded, exclusive bush camps within the Moremi Wildlife Reserve and Chobe National Park. Highlights include, Chobe, Savuti and Moremi Game Reserves, and the jewel of Botswana the Okavango Delta. The Safari ends in Maun where it's a quick flight onto your next destination.

Day 1: Livingstone

Our safari starts at livingstone / victoria falls - without doubt one of the greatest and most unforgettable spectacles in Africa. Time at leisure to enjoy the many optional activities on offer including scenic flights, micro lighting, elephant back riding etc. and a visit to the falls (own expense). 1 night Zambezi Waterfront (or similar accommodation). (Dinner, Lunch at own expense)

Day 2/3/4: Chobe National Park & Savuti

The morning is spent at leisure in Livingstone for last minute activities or shopping, with an afternoon transfer to Chobe National Park. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets, with the largest elephant population in Africa living in the region. We may witness huge herds during our game drives and an unforgettable game viewing sunset cruise on the Chobe River.  Continuing overland through the park we visit the dry savute marsh and savute channel, famous for its abundance of large predators. This amazing area and its waterholes are explored during our early morning and late afternoon game drives with our guide. (all meals except lunch on day 2).

 Day 5/6: Khwai area of Moremi

After breakfast, we move our camp to the Khwai flood plains of moremi game reserve, and continue to explore the ever-changing scenery of the reserve with our guide. Enjoying early morning and late afternoon game drives, we uncover the secrets of this pristine wilderness area in search of the many species of animal and birdlife that make Moremi their home.(all meals).

 Day 7/8/9: Okavango area of Moremi

The channels and waterways of the Okavango Delta are explored on a morning mokoro excursion, with lunch being enjoyed either back at camp or at a shady stop in the wilderness. A late afternoon game drive and sundowners show the splendours of an African sunset.  Standard Mobile Safari  (All meals)

Day 10: Maun

En-route back to Maun, we stop for a visit to a Cultural Village where you will be shown the lifestyles & tradition of the Bayei tribe. (Breakfast)
