13 DAY GARDEN ROUTE & LESOTHO Leave
the Mother city behind you as we explore the world famous
winelands, visit an ostrich farm, the enormous Cango Caves,
and explore the beautiful Garden Route. Marvel at the Addo
Elephant National Park and continue on to pony trek in the
highlands of Lesotho.

Itinerary:
Day 1 Stellenbosch Wine Route
After a short briefing we leave Cape Town and travel a short distance to Stellenbosch. On the way we stop at a wine farm to sample some regional wine. We also visit the Cheetah Breeding project to admire these beautiful animals. We continue our journey to Swellendam where we will overnight. Camp L,D
Day 2/3 Oudtshoorn Knysna
Leaving Swellendam behind us we drive inland to visit the Cango
Caves. After taking a tour of this amazing natural wonder
we have the opportunity to visit an ostrich farm. Returning
to the coast via some lovely country roads we drive to the
picturesque seaside village of Knysna. Camp B,L,D
Optional Activities: Ostrich Farm visit and Ostrich Riding,
Canoeing, Abseiling, Hiking, Lagoon Cruise.
Day 4/5 Tsitsikamma National Park
It is a short drive to Stormsriver, our base for the
next two nights. From here we will explore the coastal region
in the Tsitsikamma National Park. The hiking here is some
of the best anywhere and includes the option to walk the first
few kilometers of the Otter Trail. Camp B,L,D
Optional Activities: Bungee Jumping, Tubing, Treetop Tours,
Hiking.
Day 6 Addo Elephant National Park
The journey continues further East into the Eastern Cape Province
where we spend our time in Addo Elephant National Park surrounded
by these magnificent creatures. Game driving in the Park allows
us good opportunity to take some wonderful photos. Camp B,L,D
Day 7/8 Hogsback
After a final game drive in Addo we depart the NP and drive, via Port Elizabeth, to Hogsback. The following day your guides will lead you on a relaxing hike in the surrounding forest. Optional Activities: Horse riding, mountain biking B,L,D
Day 9/10 Lesotho
After a long but scenic drive we enter the Mountain Kingdom
of Lesotho. The next day we get up early and those going on
the Pony Trek will ride into the remote hills of Lesotho accompanied
by local guides. If you choose to remain behind you can just
relax or visit the local village, school or craft market.

and School visit.
 Day
11/12 South Africa – Drakensberg
Today we return to South Africa where we drive towards the
Royal Natal National Park. We spend the next two nights in
this majestic area exploring mountain paths and enjoying the
beautiful scenery of the Drakensberg. Optional horse riding
trails are an easier way to reach some of the more remote
viewpoints. Camp B,L,D
Optional Activities: Horse Riding, Hiking.
Day 13 Kwa Zulu Natal Coast - Durban
Our journey today takes us through some amazing scenery as
we return to the coast. In the late afternoon we arrive in
Durban and although the tour has ended it is possible to go
out for a final meal together at one of the excellent curry
restaurants. Tour Ends Own Arrangement B,L
Optional Activities: Dinner and night out in the city.
