YOUNG
AT HEART OVERLANDING (FOR OVER 50'S)
PRICE INCLUDES
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is generally a combination of cabins, bungalows,
lodges and pre-erected tented camps (on selected tours). They
are clean and comfortable with a rustic charm, not the luxury
found in some hotels. Wherever possible, facilities include
en suite bathrooms. At some stops, a bathroom may be shared
between four people on tour. The location of the stops often
compensates for what the facilities may lack. In some National
Parks there may be communal ablutions. Please note that the
standard of facilities in National Parks can generally be
regarded as high.
MEALS
Three meals per day are included. Breakfast is either provided
by your accommodation host or by the crew, with a picnic meal
at lunchtime. The evening meal will either be provided by
your accommodation host or the crew. There will also be an
occasional restaurant meal. Fresh produce is purchased as
we travel, to supplement our pre-packed food supplies. If
a special vegetarian meal has to be made in addition to the
group meal, your assistance will be required
CREW
Their principal role is to look after the group. They will
give the low-down on the sights, wildlife, history and people.
Depending on group size and route, your guide may also be
the driver and cook. Alternatively, you may be guided by 2
crew members. They will ensure you get the most out of your
tour and endeavour to make your holiday one you will always
remember.
ENTRANCE FEES
Entrance fees to game parks, museums, and other places of
interest listed in your itinerary are all included.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS
There may be occasions when optional extra activities can
be booked en route. These are marked with an asterisk* on
the itinerary and would be for your own account. Please note
that availability can’t always be guaranteed. Approximate
costs are listed in the Tour Confirmation Voucher to help
you calculate your spending money.
