Itinerary:
Day 1 Nata, Botswana
Departing Johannesburg, we make our way to the Botswana border. We head northwards to Nata, where we camp on the edge of Makgadikgadi Pans. We enjoy the evening around the campfire, getting to know your fellow travellers. (D)

Day 2 Livingstone (Victoria Falls), Zambia
This morning we have the option to explore the Makgadikgadi Pans on a guided pan excursion (optional). We then make our way through the Chobe District, where it is common to see migratory elephants along the roadside. Crossing into Zambia via the Kazangula ferry, we arrive in Livingstone, where we spend the afternoon on a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. (BD)

Day 3 Livingstone (Victoria Falls), Zambia
Your time is spent at leisure, partaking in the many optional activities available in the adrenalin capital of Africa. Activities include rafting the wild Zambezi, canoeing, microlighting, gorge swinging, jet boating, elephant riding and more! The brave can do one of the highest bungee jumps in the world or, for the more adventurous, a rhino walk in the National Park. You can also visit the markets, which are filled with great craft souvenirs. The evenings are spent camping on the banks of the mighty Zambezi. (BD)

Day 4 Chobe National Park, Botswana
This morning is spent at your leisure exploring the town of Livingstone, before departing for Botswana. We set up camp on the edge of the Chobe National Park, where you have the option to relax and enjoy some great game viewing on a Chobe River cruise. (BD)

Day 5 Maun, Botswana
Up at daybreak, we venture out on an open vehicle game drive into the famous Chobe National Park. After breakfast, we depart for Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. (BD)

Days 6 and 7 Okavango Delta, Botswana
We venture into the wilderness of the Delta; greeted by the local guides in mokoros (traditional dugout canoes) we explore the pristine waters of the Delta by Mokoro and enjoy game walks in search of the abundant wildlife that inhabits this oasis in an otherwise arid region. We set up camp on an island in the Delta and enjoy our evenings under the African skies. (BLD)

Day 8 Maun/ Leroo La Tau, Botswana
We leave behind the tranquillity and memories offered by the Delta on our last mokoro trip before transferring back to Maun. Our journey continues to Leroo La Tau Lodge “Spoor of the Lion” which is situated near the dry Boteti River. This special surrounding allows us to take part in activities such as game walks, accompanied by skilled guides or a visit to the site of the famous Bane's Baobab at the edge of Kudiakam Pan. (BD) (BD)

Day 9 Rhino Sanctuary, Botswana
We depart from Maun and head for the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, where we spend the evening camping within the Reserve. (BLD)

Day 10 Johannesburg, South Africa
Departing early, we cross the border and arrive back in Johannesburg in the late afternoon. (B)
