Itinerary:
Day 1 & 2 Kruger National Park South Africa
Departing Johannesburg we head off on an adventure of a lifetime. Stopping off at the magnificent Blyde River Canyon view sight. Upon entering the Kruger Park, we enjoy our first exciting game drive en-route to our camp, taking in the sheer beauty of the African bush along the way. After settling into camp, we enjoy a bushveld dinner around the campfire before venturing out into the bush as we track the creatures of the night on a late evening game drive. Our time in the Kruger Park is spent on game drives, bird watching and stopping off at the various waterholes. The Kruger Park is home to 150 species of mammal, including Africa’s famed Big Five. The staggering 507 bird species, plus the wide variety of insects, reptiles and amphibians make this the ultimate wildlife experience. (D on day 1 only) & (BD on day 2 only)

Days 3 & 4 Limpopo Transfrontier Peace Park Mozambique
Crossing the border into Mozambique, we enter the pristine wilderness of the Limpopo Transfrontier Peace Park. This park lies adjacent to the Kruger Park and forms one magnificent wilderness area. Spending the next two nights camping wild, we experience the serenity of the African bush, exploring this pristine wilderness both on foot and on game drives. (BLD)

Days 5 & 6 Banhine/Zinave Mozambique
Crossing the Limpopo River we venture into the Banhine National Park, this 7000km˛ wilderness area is home to extensive wetlands and is a key source of water for the surrounding arid lands. We spend the next two days exploring this untouched region and attempting to venture into the Zinave Park. Camping wild in this region is truly an experience for the adventurous soul. (BLD)

Days 7 & 8 Vilanculos Mozambique
Vilanculos is a tropical paradise set in unspoilt beaches of sea, sun and white sands. This area has world-class beaches washed by the Indian Ocean’s warm waters. We take a dhow trip to the Bazaruto Islands to snorkel at 2 mile reef, after spending a fun filled day exploring the Indian Ocean, we return to the mainland. The rest of our time is spent doing water-based activities or simply relaxing on the beach. (BD)

Days 9 & 10 Inhambane/Tofo Beach Mozambique
Travelling south down the coast to Inhambane, we set up camp in the coastal village of Tofo. Time is spent at your own leisure, sipping cocktails at one of the many beach bars, walking along the long white beaches, deep sea fishing, quad bike trails or scuba diving for the more energetic. (BD)

Day 11 Maputo Mozambique
Leaving the peace and tranquillity of the beach behind, we continue onto the bustling Capital City of Maputo, where we have the afternoon to explore this city and its rich cultural history. With its attractive tree-lined avenues, it has a unique European feel about it and it has some great local restaurants. (B)

Day 12 Maputo Elephant Reserve Mozambique
Departing the buzzing city we travel south to the Maputo Elephant Reserve. The marshes, grassland and lush riverine forests make this the ideal elephant habitat. We spend our time viewing these magnificent animals who against all odds survived the civil war. There is an opportunity to spot other wildlife including hippos, crocodiles and even turtles laying their eggs. We spend the night camping in the Reserve. (BLD)

Day 13 Hlane Swaziland
Departing from Maputo Elephant Reserve, we travel towards the Swaziland border. We enter the Kingdom of Swaziland, where we then depart for the Hlane Royal National Park. This vast expanse of bushveld with its ancient hardwood trees, spectacular birdlife and four of the Big Five makes Hlane, home to the largest wild herds in the Kingdom. We set up camp, before exploring Hlane on a guided game walk, giving us the opportunity to track white rhino on foot. The evening is to be spent camping at Hlane. (BD)

Day 14 Johannesburg South Africa
We pack up and head back to Johannesburg, where the tour will finish. (B)
