6 DAY TANZANIAN GAME PARKS 4x4 SAFARI
A fully inclusive camping safari conducted in 4x4 Landrovers. This safari is designed for the African game lover and takes in the following parks within Tanzania: Tarnangire National Park,Lake Manyara NP,Serengeti NP and the Ngorongoro Crater. National Park.
The tour is operated using top of the range Landcruisers specially designed for game viewing. The tours are conduced by professional, knowledgeable, English speaking driver guides who have years of experience in the parks. (Italian, German, and Spanish speaking driver guides can be provided on request).

ITINERARY:
Day 01 ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NP
We start our Safari with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for our first game drive.Lunch is in the form of a picnic in the park. The Tarangire National Park has a varied landscape, which is scattered with huge knotted baobab trees.This park is renowned for the large herds of elephant and buffalo, resident predators, plentiful plains game and over 350 species of birds.Set up camp and relax through the afternoon heat before taking another game drive in the early evening. Return to your camp for showers, dinner and a good nights' sleep accompanied by the night sounds of the African bush.Overnight at Tarangire National Park Campsite.
Day 02 TARANGIRE NP TO LAKE MANYARA NP TO SERENGETI NP
Drive across the plains and into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive in this interesting area sandwiched between the Rift Valley wall and the shores of Lake Manyara. The park lies in the Rift Valley itself, the primeval gash that scars Africa from Ethiopia to Mozambique and is named after the Manyara Plant, a bush used by the Masai in the area to fence off the corrals in which they keep their cattle. The Park covers an area of 330 sq. kms. Have a picnic lunch in the park by one of the numerous ground-water streams, then on our way out of the park we search for the tree climbing lions, resident groups of hippo, and many species of water bird. We head off to the Serengeti National park visiting Olduvai Gorge enroute.The Olduvai Gorge was made famous by the anthropological Leakey family, this anthropologist’s dream is where the origins of man are said to have emerged. Day 03 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
The Serengeti is the largest of all the parks in Tanzania. We Continue across the plains and enjoy another picnic lunch as you take in the vastness of these grassland plains dotted with granite kopjes. Serengeti National Park is arguably the most famous game park on Earth. A vast tract of predator-rich land, it is here that the great spectacle of the annual wildebeest migration, up to 1.5 million strong, unfolds reaching its frenzied peak in January/February. Sit by a waterhole to watch the hippo and crocodile, or wait patiently for the pride of lion to make a kill.Stay overnight at Seronera Campsite - In the Serengeti
Day 04 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Full day in the Serengeti National Park. Not only will you be treated to a vast array of wildlife in its natural habitat, but sweeping panoramas of the African savannah, dotted with lush rocky outcrops (known as kopjes). Luch will be in the form of a picnic. Stay another night at Seronera Campsite.
Day 05 SERENTETI NP TO NGORONGORO CRATER
Morning game drive in the Serengeti. In the afternoon drive to the lush Ngorongoro Conservation Area and around the rim of the Crater to your camp to behold the spectacular view. Stay overnight at Simba Camp overlooking the Crater
Day 06 NGORONGORO TO ARUSHA
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a crater tour.
This 100 square mile natural amphitheatre is host to an astonishing array of wildlife and you may see everything from elephant to lion, and if you’re lucky, the near-extinct black rhino, all amongst large herds of zebra and wildebeest. A picnic lunch will be taken in the crater - afternoon drive back to Arusha via the craft markets of Mto Wa Mbu. Accommodation in Arusha at the extra cost.
