Children under 6 are allowed on our open safari vehicles providing
that the clear see through sides are lowered and they are
accompanied by their parents.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger National Park
You will be picked up by an air-conditioned vehicle from Johannesburg
International Airport at approximately 09h30. You will be
transferred directly to the Kruger National Park. Enjoy the
first exciting game drive safari of the day en route to your
Kruger Park safari rest camp.
Upon arrival, you will meet your safari guides, who are waiting
with a welcome drink. Depending upon your arrival time in
the park, there will be time for an afternoon game drive safari,
in an open safari vehicle. The evening will be spent around
the fire at the Kruger Park safari camp site, listening to
tales told by your African safari guides while they prepare
your meal over an open fire. Dinner is included.
Day 2: Kruger National Park – Luxury Lodge
At daybreak, you will wake up to steaming hot coffee
or tea and rusks (biscuits). Thereafter you will depart on
your early morning game drive in search of fascinating wildlife
in South Africa's famous Kruger National Park. You will return
to camp for a hot brunch where after you will be transferred
to your luxury lodge, to spend the last night of your Kruger
Park safari. You will experience a typical old-fashioned safari,
at Camp Shawu, situated inside the Kruger National Park.
With authentic Buffalo dung walls, Camp Shawu paints a picture
of the 'real Africa' as described by famous explorers of old.
Private decks overlooking the Mpanamana Dam and beyond, present
a masterpiece of an African landscape. After a relaxing afternoon,
you will enjoy snacks and beverages, before setting off with
your safari guide for game viewing in a state-of-the-art open
4x4 safari vehicle. Enjoy dinner before retiring to your Kruger
Park safari lodge room for a well deserved rest. Brunch and
dinner included.
Day 3: Kruger National Park – Johannesburg
This is your last game drive of your Kruger Park Safari, allowing
you to see more of the area, and its game before you leave.
After bidding farewell to your safari guide, a luxury transfer
vehicle will collect you for the drive back to Johannesburg.
