10 DAY 3 STAR TANZANIA LODGE SAFARI
This 10 day accommodated safari is fantastic value for money
and is based on a 3 Star Wildlife Lodge with full board. There
are no more than 6 persons per vehicle thus guaranteeing window
seats for all passengers, all the safari starts and finish
from City of Arusha. 
Tanzania is Africa’s prime game viewing country. Its
national parks and game reserves cover almost 25% of the country
and protect an estimated 20% of Africa’s large mammals.
Ngorongoro Crater is said to have the world’s densest
population of lion. In Lake Manyara, lions have developed
a liking for residing in the branches of trees, where they
can both sleep and watch for prey. The Serengeti national
park is notable for its large migratory herds of wildebeest
and zebras with strings of predators in trail.

ITINERARY:
Day 01: FROM KILIMANJARO AIRPORT TO YOUR HOTEL IN ARUSHA.
On arrival you will be greeted by your guide who will assist you with your luggage and escort you to the car for the 55 min drive to your hotel at the outskirts of City of Arusha which is a centre point of Cape to Cairo and also serves as the starting point for your Northern Tanzanian Safari, overnight stay at SG Resort - 3 Star, Meal Plan: Room Only.
Day 02: ARUSHA - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast (08:00am) you will receive a briefing about your Safari. After the briefing we will depart from the City of Arusha heading for approximately 3 hours drive to the Tarangire National Park. This park offers wide panoramas of open acacia woodlands and grass savanna and its here where huge herds of Elephants (often two hundred strong) and other unique residents such as fringe-eared Oryx, Lesser Kudu, Lion, Cheetah and Leopard can be spotted. We will enter Tarangire National Park around 11:00am doing some en-route game viewing on the way to the Lodge. Check in will be around lunch followed by afternoon game drive within the Tarangire National park. Just before 6 pm we will proceed back the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Tarangire Sopa Lodge or Tarangire River Camp - 4 Star, Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
 Day 03: FROM TARANGIRE TO NGORONGORO CRATER.
Today after an early breakfast we proceed from the Tarangire National Park passing through the colorful villages' of Mto wa Mbu and Karatuu arriving late afternoon at Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge. After check in we will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or Bougainville Safari Lodge - 3 Star, Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 04: NGORONGORO CRATER.
After breakfast we will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half day crater tour and game viewing. Lunch will take the form of a picnic. The oval shape Ngorongoro Crater is 300 sq.km in area and 610m deep. The crater is a repository of Africa's finest wildlife. All the big five are present living a privileged existence on the crater floor, and they are so placid you can move right among them. Late afternoon we will ascend the crater rim with clouds rolling over the rim like a misty waterfall and head back to our accommodation. You will enjoy a dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or Bougainville Safari Lodge - 3 Star, Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 05: OLDUVAI GORGE - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
This morning we drive with a picnic lunch to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation area passing through the Malanja Depression towards Olduvai Gorge. We will visit the museum located here featuring the famous Zinj skull and the Zinjanthropus man (1.8 million years old), whose remains were found here by Dr. Leakey. At 1.30pm after a picnic lunch we enter the Serengeti National Park through the Nabi hill gate and drive toward Seronera river valley. We will do an en route game drive and will have an overnight stay and dinner at the Seronera Wildlife Lodge, Lobo Wildlife Lodge or Serengeti Safari Camp - 3 Star, Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 06 & 07: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
We will spend 3 days in Serengeti National Park which is as big as Northern Ireland. It is the greatest game sanctuary in the world, fantastic in its natural beauty and unequalled in its scientific value. Serengeti contains about 4 million different types of animals including the big cats, Elephant and Buffalo. We will enjoy a full day game viewing and photo safari within the Serengeti National park. You will have the choice between a hot lunch at the lodge or a picnic lunch on route. We will drive back to our base camp before 6pm each evening for an overnight stay at Seronera Wildlife Lodge, Lobo Wildlife Lodge or Serengeti Safari Camp - 3 Star, Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 08: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO LAKE MANYARA.
After breakfast we say farewell to the beautiful Serengeti and head off ,via Simba Kopjes, out through Naabi Hill gate and onwards to the Ngorongoro highlands. We will stop on the crater rim to enjoy one of the most scenic views available of the Ngorongoro Crater and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park on the edge of the Great Rift Valley. We will enjoy breath taking views of this great landscape before entering the Park. The overnight stay will be at Lake Manyara Hotel or Lake Manyara Safari Camp - 3 Star, Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 09: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Today enjoy we will enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive at Lake Manyara National Park one of the most popular and attractive National parks. For a relatively small area in size, it contains a surprisingly large variety of habitat and a diverse animal and bird population. Lake Manyara National park is also famous for its tree-climbing Lions and numerous migratory birds. We will enjoy our morning and afternoon game viewing followed by lunch and dinner at your lodge, overnight stay at Lake Manyara Hotel or Lake Manyara Safari Camp - 3 Star, Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 10: FROM LAKE MANYARA HOTEL TO ARUSHA.
After breakfast we will return to City of Arusha enjoying a picnic lunch along the way. Arusha will sadly be the end of your Safari. If you will be traveling to Nairobi we can arrange 2:00 pm shuttle bus for you to Nairobi or we can drop you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARU) for your onward journey to your Zanzibar Beach Holiday (Contact African Budget Safaris for details.) or your return back home.
