Itinerary:
Day 1 Chobe Botswana
This morning is spent at your leisure exploring the town of Livingstone, before departing for Botswana. We set up camp on the edge of the Chobe National Park, where you have the option to relax and enjoy some great game viewing on a Chobe River cruise. (D)

Day 2 Maun Botswana
Up at daybreak, we venture out on an open vehicle game drive into the famous Chobe National Park. After breakfast, we depart for Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. (BD)

Day 3 Okavango Delta Botswana

We venture into the wild bush of Africa, far from any civilisation. Our trip begins by 4x4 Land Rover across the 'Buffalo Fence' into the wildlife area. Once in the Delta, we join local villagers/guides on mokoros (two-man dugout canoes) and begin our search for the abundance of wildlife that inhabits the Delta. We set up camp on an island in the Delta and enjoy an evening under the African skies. (BLD)

Day 4 Okavango Delta Botswana
This is a unique opportunity to live under nature's rules. Rising with the sun, we enjoy more poling on the mokoros, drifting silently through the channels. We also get involved in game walks, tracking different animals and learning their habits. This is a great opportunity to learn about the people of the area - each two-man mokoro has a polar or local guide who grew up in the area and lives in the local village. These people work together in a community tourism initiative. After a breathtaking sunset, relax around the campfire listening to the sounds the night has to offer. (BLD)

Day 5 Okavango Delta/ Maun Botswana
We leave behind the tranquillity and memories offered by the Delta on our last Mokoro trip before transferring back to Maun. This afternoon you have the option of a game flight over the Delta, giving you a superb view of the waterways and wildlife. (BD)

Day 6 Khama Rhino Sanctuary Botswana
We depart from Maun and head for the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, where we spend the evening camping within the Reserve. (BLD)

Day 7 Johannesburg South Africa
Today we drive through to Johannesburg, arriving late afternoon. (B)
