Malawi. We spend the afternoon exploring the colourful and
vibrant markets of Lilongwe, experiencing the cultural blend
of ancient and modern Africa. (BLD)
Day 3,4 and 5 Lake Malawi Malawi
Setting up camp on the shores of Lake Malawi, our time is
spent exploring this large fresh water lake. Snorkelling and
scuba diving the lake gives us an opportunity to discover
the 500 species of colourful tropical fish. Meeting the locals
will remind us why Malawi is the Land of smiles and laughter.

After breakfast, we head to Blantyre, named after the birthplace
of David Livingstone, the town is the crossroads to Mozambique.
(BD)
Day

We cross into Mozambique, which has largely stayed untouched
by modern day development, giving the traveller an opportunity
to escape from the well-trodden trail. We set up camp in the
small town of Chimoio. (BLD)
Days 8, 9 and10 Vilanculos Mozambique
Vilanculos is a tropical paradise set in unspoilt beaches
of sea, sun and white sands. This area has world-class beaches
washed by the Indian Ocean's warm waters. Take an optional
trip to the Bazaruto Islands to snorkel, do a water-based
activity, or simply relax on the beach. (BD)
Days 11 and 12 Inhambane/Tofo Mozambique
Travelling south down the coast to Inhambane, we set up camp
in the coastal village of Tofo. Time is spent at you own leisure,
sipping cocktails at one of the many beach bars, walking along
the long white beaches, deep sea fishing, quad bike trails
or scuba diving for the more energetic. (BD)
Days 13 Maputo Mozambique
Leaving the peace and tranquillity of the beach behind, we
continue on to the bustling capital city of Maputo where we
have the afternoon to explore this city and its rich cultural
history. With its attractive tree-lined avenues, it has a
unique European feel about it and it has some great local
restaurants. (B)
Day 14 and 15 Kruger National Park South Africa
We make our way to the famous Kruger Park where the scenery
