Children under 6 are allowed on our open safari vehicles providing
that the clear see through sides are lowered and they are
accompanied by their parents.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger National Park
Your Kruger National Park vacation starts with you being
picked up by an air-conditioned vehicle, from Johannesburg
International Airport at approximately 09h30. You will be
transferred directly to the Kruger National Park.
Upon arrival at the Kruger Park restcamp you will be introduced
to your safari guides who are waiting with a welcome drink.
After a briefing on your Kruger National Park vacation, enjoy
the first exciting game drive of the day in an open safari
vehicle. The evening will be spent around the fire at the
Kruger Park campsite. Listen to the tales told by the African
safari guides while they prepare your meal over an open fire.
Dinner is included.
Day 2: Kruger National Park
At sunrise on the second day of your Kruger National
Park vacation you depart on a morning game drive in search
of the wildlife in this prime game viewing area of the Kruger
Park, learning some bush lore from your safari guide, along
the way. You will return to camp for a hot brunch where after
there is time to relax, perhaps by cooling off in the pool
or taking a nap.
After late afternoon snacks and beverages, set off once again
in state-of-the-art open safari vehicle. You will be intrigued
by your safari guides' knowledge of the wildlife. On this
Kruger National Park vacation you will also learn about landscape
and traditions of the area. In the evening you will have the
opportunity to taste real safari bush cuisine as prepared
by your safari guide in the traditional way, over an open
fire! Brunch, afternoon snacks and dinner are included.
Day 3: Kruger National Park – Luxury Lodge
Your Kruger National Park vacation continues at daybreak,
when you depart on your morning game drive in search of fascinating
wildlife in South Africa's famous Kruger National Park. You
will return to camp for a hot brunch where after you will
be transferred to your luxury lodge, to spend the last night
of your Kruger Park safari. You will experience a typical
old-fashioned safari, at Camp Shawu, situated inside the Kruger
National Park.
With authentic Buffalo dung walls, Camp Shawu paints a picture
of the 'real Africa' as described by famous explorers of old.
Private decks overlooking the Mpanamana Dam and beyond, present
a masterpiece of an African landscape. After a relaxing afternoon,
you will enjoy snacks and beverages, before setting off with
your safari guide for game viewing in a state-of-the-art open
4x4 safari vehicle. Enjoy dinner before retiring to your Kruger
Park safari lodge room for a well deserved rest. Brunch and
dinner included.
Day 4: Kruger National Park – Johannesburg
This is your last game drive of your Kruger National Park
vacation, where you may spot that animal that you have missed.
After bidding farewell to your safari guide, you will be transferred
back to Johannesburg. Brunch is included.
