Itinerary:
Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger National Park
Your 6 day Kruger National Park safari will start when you
depart Johannesburg International Airport at approximately
09h30, in air-conditioned Mercedes vehicles. You will be transferred
directly to the Kruger National Park. Upon arrival you will
meet up with your safari guides who are waiting with welcome
drinks.
After a briefing on your Kruger National Park safari, you
will enjoy your first exciting game drive in an open safari
vehicle. Retire to your bungalow after dinner for a good night's
rest. Dinner is included.
Days 2 - 5: Kruger National Park
On the next 5 days of your Kruger National Park safari you
wake up before sunrise to steaming tea and coffee with rusks
(biscuits), before heading out on a game drive. Game viewing
is best in the early mornings and you are sure to have excellent
sightings! This Kruger National Park safari will provide you
with the opportunity to experience the fascinating wildlife
in an open 4x4 safari vehicle. Relax, sit back and enjoy the
scenery!
You return to the Kruger National Park rest camp for brunch.
In the heat of the day you can use your time to relax, catch-up
on an afternoon nap in your bungalow, stroll down to a lookout
point for a quiet time, or even stock up on some gifts in
the curio shop. The rest
of the afternoon will be spent on a safari game drive, where
a knowledgeable safari guide will explain more about the wonders
of the bush, from the big to the small.
The birdlife on this Kruger Park safari is spectacular. Apart
from the abundance of other wildlife, including a variety
of antelope, such as Duiker, Waterbuck, Impala, Sable and
Klipspringer keep an eye out for the Big Five. Other regularly
encountered species include Hippopotamus, Wild Dog, Hyena,
and Crocodile.
In the evenings you can appreciate classical sunsets and the
exquisite bush cuisine, served around a roaring fire under
the most incredible African night sky. Discuss the day's sightings
with your safari guide. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
Day 6: Kruger National Park – Johannesburg
On this final day of your Kruger National Park safari you
can experience the thrill of an early morning game drive for
the last time. After brunch, where you bid farewell to your
safari guide, you will be transferred back to Johannesburg
in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle. Brunch is included.
