2 DAY ARUSHA & NGORONGORO CRATER
African Budget Safaris together with our local partner offer
an short 2 day Safari from Arusha to Ngorongoro that is aimed
at those clients with limited time. The tour is operated using
top of the range Landcruisers specially designed for the best
game viewing. (Not Minibuses!). The tours are conduced by
professional,
knowledgeable, English speaking driver guides who have years
of experience in the parks. (Italian, German, and Spanish
speaking driver guides can be provided o request)
The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest Caldera in the world
that has its walls intact. The Ngorongoro Crater floor lies
610 metres below the rim and has an area of 265 sq. km, with
a diameter of 16 km to 19 km. The sight of the Ngorongoro
Crater is simply stunning. The crater floor is covered with
plains animals, including wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, elands,
rhino, and a large predator population of lions, hyena and
jackal which can all be viewed at close quarters. Cheetah
and leopard can also be seen here.

ITINERARY:
Day 01 ARUSHA – NGORONGORO
Pick up in Arusha and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Areaalong
with your picnic lunch boxes.
Descend into the crater for a crater tour.
Dinner and overnight at Simba B camp site.
Day 02 NGORONGORO – ARUSHA
After breakfast drive to Manyara National Park for morning
game drive.
Lunch in within the area.
After lunch drive back to Arusha.
