Enjoy sundowners as you watch the beautiful sunset and scan the bush for wildlife and birds. After your leisurely cruise, return to the luxurious hotel for dinner (own account) in the award-winning restaurant within view of the spray of Vic Falls.
On day two we travel across the border into Botswana. Entering northern Botswana we travel to Kasane and our private safari lodge in the Chobe region. Settle in at the exclusive safari lodge overlooking the Kazuma Pans and an active watering hole. Take a dip in the pool and watch for wildlife at the waterhole.
After freshening up at the lodge, our Botswana Safari adventure kicks off with a boat cruise on the Chobe River. Enjoy a tasty lunch as you cruise along and soak up the scenery. The Chobe River flows along the northeastern border of Chobe National Park, attracting large herds of elephants, as well as giraffes, sable antelopes, and Cape buffalos, among other wild animals. The floodplains of the Chobe River are the only area in Botswana where the puku antelope can be sighted. The Chobe River also draws a variety of birdlife, making for superb bird watching.
This evening we return to our safari lodge overlooking the plains of Kazuma Forest Reserve. The private lodge is located in an active elephant corridor that joins two of Africa's top national parks - Chobe Park in Botswana and Hwange Park in Zimbabwe.
Sit back on the deck and watch for visiting animals while enjoying a sundowner. After a delicious dinner in the restaurant head to the campfire for a nightcap.
The whole of day three of our Budget African Safari to Botswana & Zimbabwe is spent exploring the grasslands, pans, and Mopane forests of Kazuma Forest Reserve.

You may come across herds of wildebeest, elephants, buffalos, antelopes (like roan and sable), and giraffes out on the plains. Predators often sighted in Kazuma include lions and leopards, so keep your eyes peeled.
At the end of the day gather around the campfire and watch for visiting animals at the floodlit waterhole.
