Enjoy a full day out in Gaansbaai, where we dive with the Great White Sharks. A truly phenomenal experience with these magnificent apex predators of the ocean. Come face-to-face with powerful sharks and get to know their secret life and role in the delicate ecosystem of our seas. To top it all off we then head into the idyllic Cape Winelands region and the dramatic Cape Peninsula on a full day tour. We explore the Cape's rugged coast and visit the scenic Wine Route area to sample some of the country's finest wines and tour the historic town of Stellenbosch. A perfect mix of adrenalin and relaxation in the beautiful Cape, all packed into one exciting tour!

Great White Shark Diving in Gaansbaai

Enjoy a full day out to view probably the most misrepresented creature of the ocean, the Great White Shark. This full day tour will take you from your accommodation in Cape Town to Gaansbaai, a small coastal village 2.5 hours from Cape Town. You will enjoy and en route breakfast and a full tour briefing on arrival. From Gaansbaai we head out with our expert guides on a 11 x 3.8 meter catamaran to Dyer Island where we anchor. We then chum the waters in the hope of attracting these magnificent creatures of the deep. You will have the opportunity to get into the Shark viewing cage and come face to face with these amazing sharks. After 4-5 hours at sea it's back to the harbour and a hearty lunch where we discuss the day's sightings. From there it's a drive back to Cape Town. A once in a lifetime opportunity

Cape Peninsula and Winelands Tour

This day tour combines the historic town of Stellenbosch and its picturesque wine region with a trip to the scenic Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. An adventure-filled journey visiting some of the Cape’s top tourist destinations along the stunning Cape Peninsula that also takes you wine tasting in South Africa’s top wine region.

Explore both the famous Cape Winelands and the rugged coastal areas of the Cape Peninsula in one day! The Cape Winelands and Peninsula tour departs from your Sweetest Guesthouse between 8:00 - 9:00am and returns to Cape Town at around 5:30pm bringing the Cape Town Adventure and Explore Package to an end.

Cape Town Tour Accommodation

On this short Cape Town tour we offer a choice between three accommodation options with Sweetest Guest Houses in Sea Point. You can specify which of the three guesthouses you prefer to stay at during the tour.

Sweet Lemon Boutique Bed & Breakfast – option one

This stylish B&B is located in the lively Sea Point area along the Atlantic Ocean, just around the corner from Cape Town’s bustling city centre.

Sweet Lemon Boutique offers six comfortable rooms characterised by wooden floors, inviting beds with crisp linen and unique décor in vibrant retro styles. Plush fabrics, fresh colours, natural elements, classical vintage furniture, chandeliers and tasteful artworks combine to create a chic, yet bohemian beach atmosphere.

The private garden and pool area are ideal for unwinding and the communal dining room features a long table for social mealtimes, surrounded by trendy bric-a-brac and old-school ornamental touches. The ambience is laid-back and the service is attentive and personalised, making for a delightful stay in Cape Town.

Sweet Orange Guesthouse – option two

This elegant B&B lies in vibrant Sea Point, a stone’s throw away from the sea and a short drive from both the city centre and the V&A Waterfront.

Built in the early 1900’s this classic colonial-style guesthouse provides a grand and peaceful haven with a leafy garden and refreshing pool. High ceilings, polished wooden floors and large windows add to the opulent character of the six spacious rooms in this lovingly restored Victorian-era home. Each light and airy en-suite room has its own unique character and charm, featuring antique pieces of furniture, a flat screen TV and a range of amenities.

Interesting objects and old-fashioned ornaments adorn the charming kitchen-dining area adding character and colour to this cosy communal area. Guests enjoy warm hospitality and superb service in style and comfort at the calming Sweet Orange Guesthouse.

Sweet Olive Guesthouse – option three

The Sweet Olive Guest House is also situated in the happening Sea Point district of Cape Town, close to the Atlantic Ocean.

A stay at this one-of-a-kind B&B is a whole new experience – the interiors are a striking amalgamation of retro-influenced modern elements mixed with chic South African décor and character filled Cuban-style furnishings. The engaging and energetic ambience of this creatively decorated guesthouse offers a vivid visual experience coupled with all the comforts of a memorable stay. The five en-suite rooms are fitted with large beds and various amenities; along with flat screen TV’s.

A big table welcomes guests to the bright and cheerful dining and kitchen area, where the eclectic and arty design theme is carried through. A sparkling pool and outdoor patio are tucked away in the reed-enclosed garden for some secluded rest and relaxation in the sunshine.

The attentive and friendly service completes the already unforgettable experience of staying at the captivating Sweet Olive Guest House.

Included Breakfast at Sweetest Guesthouses

A full continental and English / European breakfast is served until 11:00am at the Sweetest Guesthouses, either in the lovely gardens or at the long tables in their charming indoor dining areas. Tuck into feast-sized spreads of fresh fruits, homemade muesli, pancakes, platters of cold meats, various cheeses and a range of cooked dishes. The wide selection of tasty food includes eggs made to order, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, potatoes and plenty of other mouth-watering options.

Should the guesthouse you select be full when you make your booking then we will use one of the other two establishments instead.

Upgrade Option:

There are also two upgraded accommodation options available for this tour. Guests can upgrade to the 4-star Sweet Ocean View Guesthouse, or for those travelling as a family or group, there is the option of staying in private accommodation at Sweet Berries Holiday Houses. Prices for the upgraded accommodation options are available on request.
