Your journey starts off with a drive along the Atlantic Seaboard to the coastal suburb of Hout Bay where you will have the option to go out with a ferry to see a large seal colony located at the base of the Sentinel outcrop (own expense). From Hout Bay, we travel over the scenic Chapman's Peak Drive to Cape Point Nature Reserve. There is a support vehicle in close attendance, so you may cycle as much or as little as you like. There's also a chance to take a 30-minute cliff top hike from Cape Point to the Cape of Good Hope. The fresh sea air and the views are splendid. After a picnic lunch, it's off to Simonstown and the Jackass Penguins on the False Bay side of the Peninsula. Guests have the option of entering into Boulders Beach where the penguins have chosen to live, but this is for own expense.
After this uplifting experience, we start our leisurely journey back to the city centre of Cape Town.
