This unique journey into wild and unknown parts of Zambia begins with a sojourn in Livingstone, to experience the world-famous Victoria Falls - one of the world's most spectacular natural wonders.
Then we venture into the remote wilderness of the open Luiwa Plains where huge herds of wildebeest and flocks of migratory birds arrive with the rains. A nature lover's paradise this unspoilt national park is home to unusual and rare antelopes and predators such as endangered wild dogs, jackals and lions.
Go on to explore the massive and diverse Kafue National Park, Zambia's oldest national park and one of Africa's biggest, yet uncharted and unheard of, game parks. Continue to northern Kafue to discover the highlight of this untamed wildlife area - Busanga Plain. This rich floodplain is renowned for its excellent big cat sightings (lions, leopards and cheetahs), and attracts large herds of buffalos and red lechwe antelopes, as well as an abundance of birds.
Next we visit the Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage, a chimpanzee sanctuary and wildlife haven, located along Kafue River. Here we encounter various kinds of wild animals and birds that have been rescued and restored to health.
