Day 1: Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe

Your 8-Day Fly-In Victoria Falls, Chobe & Hwange Trip begins on your arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to Ilala Lodge Hotel, the closest hotel to magnificent Victoria Falls. Enjoy a guided tour of Victoria Falls to witness this natural wonder from multiple viewpoints, followed by a serene sunset cruise on the Zambezi River above the falls, where hippos, crocodiles, and elephants gather along the banks. Spend your evening exploring Victoria Falls town with its lively markets, cafés, and local crafts.

Day 2–3: Kazuma Forest Reserve in the Chobe Enclave – Botswana

After breakfast, your Victoria Falls, Chobe & Hwange Fly-In Safari crosses the Kazungula border by road into Botswana, where you’ll embark on a thrilling Chobe River boat cruise, spotting wildlife on the riverbanks, before transferring to beautiful Camp Kuzuma, located within the wildlife-rich Kazuma Forest Reserve bordering Chobe and Hwange Reserves. The surrounding plains attract vast herds of elephants, zebras, and buffalo, as well as predators like lions and leopards. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives or guided bush walks. Retreat to camp to relax on the deck as elephants wander just metres away from camp, and enjoy sundowners overlooking the waterhole.

Day 4–5: Hwange National Park (Northwest) – Zimbabwe

After breakfast, your Victoria Falls, Chobe & Hwange Safari Trip crosses back into Zimbabwe at Pandamatenga Border. Your guide will transfer you to Nantwich Lodge, an eco-lodge perched on a hill overlooking a waterhole in the northern section of beautiful Hwange National Park. This beautifully restored lodge features panoramic decks and an underground hide for close-up wildlife viewing. Expect exceptional lion sightings, herds of buffalo, and elephants frequenting the dam. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives or guided bush walks (seasonal), before retreating to the lodge for time to unwind at the pool, get a pampering spa treatment, or capture some unforgettable safari photographs from the hide.

Day 6–7: Hwange National Park (North) – Zimbabwe

After a morning game drive and breakfast, your Victoria Falls, Chobe & Hwange Safari continues deeper into Northern Hwange to Bumbusi Wilderness Camp, a secluded retreat surrounded by sandstone outcrops and ancient ruins. The camp’s proximity to a natural spring ensures excellent year-round wildlife sightings, particularly elephants and kudu. Enjoy game drives or guided bush walks, and visit to the Bumbusi National Monument and San rock art sites to discover the region's ancient history. Relax at camp with tea by the fire or watch wildlife from the deck as the sun sets.

Bumbusi Wilderness Camp is one of Hwange’s most exclusive lodges, with only a handful of chalets set beneath a lush forest of mahogany and jackalberry trees. There is a relaxing lounge/library, a natural pool, outdoor dining area, and a fire pit for evenings spent under the stars. Rooms have been carefully restored to preserve original stonework, each offering absolute comfort, including en-suite bathroom with a shower and basin.

Day 8: Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe

After breakfast and a final morning game drive, transfer to Robins Airstrip for your flight back to Victoria Falls International Airport.
