We leave the bustling city of Johannesburg after collecting you from the airport or your hotel in the area and drive towards our Safari Camp, located at Shaw’s Gate, an entrance to the world-renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve in South Africa.
After checking into your room at the exclusive safari camp there is some time to freshen up, before we embark on our first thrilling sunset safari game drive. Our evening game drive takes us in search of wildlife in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, renowned for its abundance of leopards.
An inviting camp fire awaits you back at the Safari Camp after dark, where you can enjoy some drinks before tucking into the well-prepared dinner served under star-studded African skies in the Boma or main dining area at the bush camp.
Dinner Included
After morning tea or coffee served at the camp reception area, you set off on a morning safari drive in the Kruger National Park in search of Africa's wild animals.
Arriving back at the safari camp in the mid-morning, a hearty breakfast will be served. After breakfast, there is time to rest at camp, relaxing by the pool during the heat of the day or taking a leisurely walk around the safari camp and enjoying some of the exciting activities offered at the exclusive camp.
Light lunch is served between 12:30pm and 2:00pm in the main Camp Lodge area and at about 3:00pm we head back into the bush on an afternoon Safari Drive in the world famous Kruger Park. Wildlife Safaris offer great opportunities to gain knowledge about Kruger Park with all its wildlife, bird species, fauna and flora; which promise to leave you feeling enriched and rewarded.
On our Kruger Safari drives we explore the best routes for game viewing and photographic opportunities. We welcome questions and interaction with the safari guides, so that we can provide you with as much insight into this beautiful wilderness region and its wild animals as possible.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included
In the morning a refreshing tea or coffee is served at the camp reception area, before we head out on our morning safari drive in Sabi Sand Game Reserve with an experienced local tribesman and guide. On your game drive the safari guide is happy to share his extensive knowledge into the local Sabi Sand bushveld, giving you insight into African wildlife as well as the Fauna and Flora of this region of South Africa. Sabi Sand is renowned for its excellent leopard, lion, buffalo, elephant and rhino sightings, providing excellent photographic opportunities.
We return to camp for breakfast after our successful game drive in Sabi Sand. Breakfast is again followed by free time to relax at the camp during the hottest part of the day. This is the ideal time to retreat from the heat of the African bush and take a refreshing dip in the camp pool or participate in some of the energizing activities available at the well-run safari camp.
After a light lunch served at camp we make our way back into the wilderness in search of Africa's wild animals, big and small. Our afternoon safari drive in Sabi Sands Reserve takes us exploring along routes in search of the iconic leopard, lion, rhino and buffalo. A Camp fire in the boma welcomes you back to the Camp after dark, where drinks will be served. Then dinner is served in the outdoor dining Boma surrounded by the African bush and the sounds of its nocturnal creatures stirring.

Today you will leave the comfortable yet affordable Safari Camp, heading back to Johannesburg via the scenic Panoramic Route. We travel through one of the most scenic parts of South Africa stopping to admire the stunning views at Gods Window, Lisbon Falls and Graskop, passing through beautiful mountainous areas and small towns.
We arrive back in bustling Johannesburg at around 5:30pm bringing this Kruger & Sabi Sand Safari in sunny South Africa to a close.

The tented rooms are fitted with twin beds and include linen and African design bedspreads, side table with a lampshade and comfortable chairs. The rooms also come complete with mosquito nets, a mirror stand with hairdryer, luggage stands and plug points as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

Each morning your safari guide will wake you before first light to embark on your thrilling safari drive in the unspoilt bush. The African wilderness is already alive, the air filled with birdsong as the rising sunlight shimmers off beads of dew on spiders' webs.
As the day cools down, on your afternoon safari drive you will see the inhabitants of the bush venturing out from the shade of the trees in search water. Watch in awe as the sky changes to vibrant reds, golds and oranges, typical of an African sunset, majestically reflecting off rivers, natural waterholes and meandering streams.
We offer a personal collection and drop off service from anywhere in the Johannesburg, Pretoria or Nelspruit region of South Africa to and from the Safari Camp bordering Sabi Sands.
Our specially selected vehicle fleet that seats either 4 or 6 passengers only, will ensure that the journey to the Safari Camp is a more personal and comfortable experience. The vehicles are not mini buses, nor are they big overland trucks, providing you with generous leg room and no maximum restrictions on luggage.
Safari drives are conducted in open game viewing vehicles, which provide panoramic views when we encounter animals on drives, as well as allowing you to get an insight into the sounds and smells of the African wilderness. The vehicles have quick release windows and doors for your comfort when the unpredictable African weather provides us with an unexpected thunderstorm. For your convenience, if you would prefer to do safari drives in an air-conditioned, closed vehicle, we will be more than happy to accommodate you.

Children are more than welcome at the Safari Camp; however there are various restrictions regarding bush activities and room configurations. When enquiring about this tour please include the ages of children for the child rates and child policy restrictions.
All tourist attractions and mandatory stops visited en route to the Safari Camp, as well as the return trips are brief and subject to change depending upon time constraints of the day.
