Montagne d’Ambre National Park & Diego Suarez…

This 4 day tour takes you to the tonw of Diego Suarez and the rain forests of Montagne d'Ambre National Park.

Your lodge is nestled underneath the canopy of trees and allows for complete relaxation. The neighbouring Montagne d'Ambre National Park is a sight to behold; the luscious rainforest is home to lemurs and chameleons amongst a host of other wildlife and spectacular birdlife. You have a chance to spot these beautiful creatures on a full day guided excursion into the forests before retreating to the comforts of the Nature Lodge.

The last day takes you into the town of Diego Suarez. Meet the friendly locals and witness their colourful culture displayed in their attire and the women's makeup. Take a stroll beside the ocean that offers spectacular panoramic views of the Madagascan coast!

DAY 1: Diego Suarez - Montane d'Ambre National Park – Madagascar

On arrival to Diego Suarez airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to Nature Lodge. The eco-lodge is situated at the entrance of Montagne d'Ambre National Parc, close to Diego Suarez in the north of Madagascar, and overlooks the Bay of Diego in the Channel of Mozambique. We enjoy a guided afternoon visit of the park, before returning to our warm and cozy lodge for the evening.

DAY 2: Montagne d'Ambre National Park – Madagascar B

After breakfast we depart for the Montagne d'Ambre National Park for a full day excursion. You have the opportunity to see lemurs, splendid scenery, birds and waterfalls, as well as rare epidemic plants.

DAY 3: Montagne d'Ambre National Park to Diego Suarez – Madagascar B

Today we head back to Diego, where you spend the last night. Take some time to explore this town, a mosaic of people where white djellebas meet with the mulitcoloured loincloths of the women, who often have beauty masks on their faces. Your hotel is situated in the beautiful bay of Diego Suarez, set in a tropical garden and only 5 minutes away from the city centre. Its elegant rooms and suites offer you panoramic views over the turquoise waters of the ocean.

DAY 4: Diego Suarez – Madagascar B

After breakfast you will be collected and taken to the airport of Diego Suarez, where your rewarding Northern Madagascar Experience comes to an end.
