At the start of this affordable Sabi Sand Safari, you are collected from the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg or your pre-safari accommodation in the Kempton Park or Sandton.
Departing from bustling Johannesburg, the economic centre of South Africa, we drive northeast to the world-renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve. We travel through the scenic Mpumalanga Province via Nelspruit (collection can be arranged) in a comfortable transfer vehicle with air-conditioning.
Arriving at our exclusive Sabi Sand Bush Camp there is time to relax and settle in, before our first exhilarating sunset game drive in Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Sunset game drives are an excellent time for game viewing, as this is when wildlife becomes more active and nocturnal animals begin to stir.
We return to the private bush camp, located inside the Sabi Sand Game Reserve in Greater Kruger, after our thrilling game drive.
Then it's time to sit back and enjoy some drinks around the welcoming campfire, where dinner is served. Get a good night's sleep at the end of the day, in the comfort of your air-conditioned tented room.
Day two begins with an early cup of coffee or tea in the thatched dining area before we head into the bush on an early morning game drive. Early mornings are one of the best times for spotting wildlife and a fantastic time to be in the bush, as everything is bathed in soft, morning light.
All of our game drives on this safari are conducted in open 4x4 safari vehicles within Sabi Sands, taking us in search of the Big Five of Africa and the diverse abundance of other wildlife found in this top South African game park. Our guides know a great deal about the Sabi Sand bushveld and its fascinating wildlife, providing guests with insights into the intriguing fauna and flora of the wilderness area.
We return to camp for a wholesome brunch, followed by free time to rest and explore the area on foot. A light lunch spread is served between 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm and then we embark on an afternoon game drive, departing at about 3:00 pm.
Our game drives mainly explore the southern section of Sabi Sands, known for its excellent wildlife sightings at close range. The experienced guides readily share their in-depth knowledge with you and are happy to answer questions along the way.
Back at camp, we enjoy dinner and drinks around the open-air campfire, spending another evening under starry African skies, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Rise and shine early again today, for a refreshing tea or coffee, before we set off on a morning game drive in Sabi Sand. The guides do their utmost to get up close to the wildlife on our game drives, providing great photographic opportunities.
Breakfast is served back at the peaceful bush camp and then there is some free time to unwind and rest, during the heat of the day. A light lunch is served (12:30 pm to 2:00 pm) and then we venture back into the Sabi Sand Reserve on an afternoon game drive in search of leopard, lion, rhino, buffalo and many more.
We return to camp after dark, to be met by a campfire and cold beverages. Tuck into a well-prepared dinner in the open-air boma under star-studded skies, before retiring to your comfortable tent for a well-deserved rest.
On the final day of this short Safari in South Africa, we leave the tranquil bush camp, making our way back to civilization via the scenic Panorama Route.
The drive back to Johannesburg takes us through spectacular mountain scenery dotted with quaint towns. Highlights include God's Window, Lisbon Falls and Graskop along the Panorama Route, one of South Africa’s most beautiful regions.
At about 5:30 pm we arrive in Johannesburg, where we part ways. Taking the photographs and memories of a lifetime with you, our unforgettable Sabi Sand Safari comes to a close.
This private camp is nestled in the indigenous bush of southern Sabi Sands, one of the best game viewing areas of the prestigious Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
The camp features only three semi-luxury tented rooms, offering an exclusive and intimate safari experience at affordable rates.
Accommodation is in twin or double tented-rooms with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms (basin, toilet and shower). These permanent tents are set on wooden platforms, each with its own deck area, making for an authentic African bush experience in traditional safari style. The canvas tents are set apart in the bush, providing privacy at the lantern-lit camp.
Facilities at the exclusive camp include a viewing deck, an outdoor dining boma set around a campfire, and a thatch-roofed lounge and dining lapa for serving meals indoors. The camp is known for its excellent, personal service and careful attention to every detail on its safaris.
Game drives are conducted in the private Sabi Sand Game Reserve, sharing unfenced boundaries with Kruger National Park.
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is renowned for its world-class game viewing, and particularly for its exceptional leopard sightings, along with superb sightings of lion, buffalo, elephant and rhino.
The original Sabie Reserve, established in 1898, incorporated what is today the Sabi Sand Game Reserve as well as the main Kruger National Park.
Access to the bush camp is restricted to guests over the age of 16 years, to ensure a safe and undisturbed safari experience.
