Begin with a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya's best places to see rhinos and birdlife, before heading to the Masai Mara National Reserve for two days of game viewing in a custom 4x4 safari vehicle. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, zebras and other iconic African wildlife, with the chance to witness the Great Migration during migration season.
Your 4-Day Kenya Safari to Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru begins with collection from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
Travel north through the scenic Great Rift Valley, passing Lake Naivasha and Lake Elmenteita en route to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at your safari lodge in time for lunch.
This afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, searching for rhinos, giraffes, buffalo and prolific birdlife around the lake. Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya's best places to see both black and white rhinos, along with lions, leopards, zebras, baboons and a variety of antelope species.
Return to your safari lodge for time to relax before dinner.
After breakfast, travel to the Masai Mara, Kenya's premier safari destination and one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife reserves.
Arrive at your safari lodge in time for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive across the open plains of the Masai Mara. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and other wildlife found in this renowned safari destination.
Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.
Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve on game drives in search of Kenya's iconic wildlife.
Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and numerous antelope species as you explore one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife reserves. During migration season, you may also have the opportunity to witness the Great Migration, one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife spectacles.
After a rewarding day on safari, return to your lodge for dinner and your final night in the Masai Mara.
After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and travel back to Nairobi, where your Kenya safari began.
Return to Nairobi by road, or choose the optional flight back to the city at extra cost. On arrival, enjoy lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant, known for its unique barbecue dining experience and wide range of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.
After lunch, transfer to the airport where your 4-Day Kenya Safari to Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru comes to an end.
