Your 7-Day Okavango & Moremi Fly-In Safari begins on your arrival at Maun Airport. Here you are greeted for your scenic light-aircraft flight into the heart of the Okavango Delta. Enjoy the incredible aerial view of this watery wonderland before landing at your first camp choice - Pom Pom Camp or Rra Dinare / Mma Dinare Camps
Spend three blissful days getting to know the rich Okavango Delta ecosystem. You set the pace of your safari – take a game drive along the river banks, set off on foot, or mokoro across the Pom Pom lagoon. Days follow a traditional rhythm of early morning and late afternoon activities, balanced with generous downtime between hearty meals and river- or lagoon-side relaxation and serene evenings around the campfire.
About Pom Pom Camp
Overlooking the lily-covered Pom Pom Lagoon, at the headwaters of the Xudum River system and just to the west of renowned Moremi Game Reserve, Pom Pom is a classic tented camp known for consistently excellent game viewing and nostalgic safari charm. Leopards particularly enjoy its woodland habitats. Spacious tented suites feature private decks, en-suite bathrooms, and outdoor showers, while communal areas include open-sided dining, lounge and bar spaces, a firepit, and a swimming pool overlooking the lagoon.
About Rra Dinare & Mma Dinare
Rra Dinare & Mma Dinare camps lie just 4 kilometers apart, within the game-rich Dinare Private Reserve. Dinare means 'many buffalo' in Setswana, and these animals roam the verdant floodplains alongside a host of birds and other animals. Developed in partnership with the local Sankuyo Community, these sister camps offer exclusive wildlife access and strong community conservation benefits. Elegant safari tents with raised decks overlook floodplains frequented by buffalo, elephants, prolific birdlife and predators. Airy communal spaces include open-air dining, lounge and bar areas, swimming pool, and scenic firepit, combining refined comfort and authentic wilderness experiences.
After breakfast on day 4, your Okavango Delta Safari heads back to the airstrip to catch your light aircraft flight to your next camp. Spend three nights at either Splash Camp or 4 Rivers Camp, both located within the exclusive Kwara Private Concession, a pristine wildlife area in the northern Okavango Delta. Diverse habitats of wetlands and grasslands offer excellent year-round game viewing, with standout sightings of predators such as lions, leopards, wild dogs, and cheetahs. Days are shaped by wildlife activity and water levels, with a mix of more game drives, walking safaris, mokoro excursions (seasonal), and night drives. About Splash Camp
Splash Camp is a contemporary, family-friendly Delta camp overlooking permanent water and a productive waterhole, and sharing a water boundary with the legendary Moremi Game Reserve. Relax in open-plan guest areas (including lounge, small reference library and bar areas), around the swimming pool or firepit. The camp runs on solar power and offers spacious en-suite tents with private viewing decks and en-suite bathrooms with both indoor and outdoor showers. Pace your day with a selection of safari activities on land and water. Mokoro safaris are available all year, visit the the Godikwe Heronry (in season), an incredible waterbird breeding site, or try your hand at seasonal fishing.
About 4 Rivers Camp
4 Rivers Camp offers a more classic safari atmosphere, set beside the permanent Tsum Tsum Channel in a rarely explored western section of the Kwara Private concession. There is a swimming pool, while wall-less communal areas, including a lounge and reference library, and a water-level firepit, look out over the water. You are guaranteed an intimate, wilderness-focused experience, including nature walks to explore Maboa Island, night drives, and mokoro excursions (not available in the dry months Oct-Dec). Stay in spacious en-suite tents with indoor and outdoor showers, and a private viewing deck with outside seating.
After a final camp breakfast and farewell game viewing en route to the airstrip, board your scheduled light-aircraft flight back to Maun, where your epic 7-Day Okavango & Moremi Fly-In Safari comes to an end.
