Day 1 - 2: Moremi Crossing, Okavango Delta – Botswana

Your 6-Day Okavango Delta Safari begins on your arrival at Maun Airport. Here you are greeted for your scenic light-aircraft flight into the heart of the Okavango Delta. Enjoy the incredible aerial view of this watery wonderland before landing at your first camp, Moremi Crossing.

Spend the next two days getting to know one of Africa’s most ecologically diverse regions, exploring the private concession the camp is located in, and neighbouring wildlife-rich Moremi Game Reserve, on a mix of game drives and walking safaris. During flood season, you also have the option to head out on the water for a traditional mokoro excursion or river boat ride - leaving straight from camp. Explore floodplains, reed-lined lagoons, and woodlands rich in an incredible variety of wildlife. Between game viewing, retreat to camp for delicious meals and some downtime watching the antics of birds and animals from the deck. Unwind by the swimming pool, and gather around the campfire beneath star-filled skies each evening.

About Moremi Crossing

Perched on a palm-fringed island overlooking the Boro River, across from Chief’s Island and alongside the legendary Moremi Game Reserve, Moremi Crossing offers classic Delta ambience with beautiful elevated views across floodplains frequented by elephant, lechwe, and abundant birdlife. The solar-powered main area stands on stilts and boasts sweeping views, a pool, safari shop and relaxed communal spaces designed for slow, immersive Delta living. Spacious canvas tents are tucked into the riverine forest, each with a private deck overlooking the floodplain activity, and an en-suite bathroom with an indoor/outdoor shower.

Day 3 – 5: Choice of Okavango Delta Camp – Botswana

After breakfast, a short light-aircraft transfer takes you deeper into the Okavango Delta. Choose between two exceptional camps, each offering a distinct Delta atmosphere and more superb wildlife encounters. Continue your classic, activity-rich Botswana Safari experience with fresh landscapes and more wildlife antics. Days follow a traditional rhythm of early morning and late afternoon activities, balanced with generous downtime between hearty meals and river- or lagoon-side relaxation and serene evenings around the campfire.

About Pom Pom Camp

Overlooking the lily-covered Pom Pom Lagoon, at the headwaters of the Xudum River system and just to the west of renowned Moremi Game Reserve, Pom Pom is a classic tented camp known for consistently excellent game viewing and nostalgic safari charm. Leopards particularly enjoy its woodland habitats. Spacious tented suites feature private decks, en-suite bathrooms, and outdoor showers, while communal areas include open-sided dining, lounge and bar spaces, a firepit, and a swimming pool overlooking the lagoon.

About Rra Dinare & Mma Dinare

Rra Dinare & Mma Dinare camps lie just 4 kilometers apart, within the game-rich Dinare Private Reserve. Dinare means 'many buffalo' in Setswana, and these animals roam the verdant floodplains alongside a host of birds and other animals. Developed in partnership with the local Sankuyo Community, these sister camps offer exclusive wildlife access and strong community conservation benefits. Elegant safari tents with raised decks overlook floodplains frequented by buffalo, elephants, prolific birdlife and predators. Airy communal spaces include open-air dining, lounge and bar areas, swimming pool, and scenic firepit, combining refined comfort and authentic wilderness experiences.

Day 6: Maun – Botswana

After a final camp breakfast and farewell game viewing en route to the airstrip, board your scheduled light-aircraft flight to Maun, where your epic 6-Day Botswana Okavango Delta Safari comes to an end.

Okavango Delta Safari Flights

This Botswana Safari includes 3 light-aircraft flights, into and out of the Okavango Delta.
Strict luggage restrictions apply, with an allowance of 20 kilograms per person, inclusive of camera equipment and hand luggage.
Note also that luggage must be in soft-sided bags to fit into the luggage compartments of the light aircraft.
