Day 1: Cape Town to Sanbona Wildlife Reserve – South Africa

Your Cape Town Safari to Sanbona Wildlife Reserve begins with an early morning pick-up from your pre-safari accommodation in the city bowl area. Travel along scenic Route 62 to the Sanbona Wildlife Reserve, near Montagu, taking in the beautiful landscapes along the way.

Arrive at the Sanbona game reserve and keep an eye out for wildlife en route to the central lounge. From there you are transferred to your selected Sanbona lodge where you enjoy a welcome drink and settle in. Here you'll meet with one of the reserve's experienced guides, all of whom are qualified game rangers with a passion for conservation.

Then it's time to embark on an exhilarating 4x4 game drive or bush walk in search of Africa's Big 5 and a multitude of other animals, birds, and creatures. Relax and soak up the peaceful Karoo landscapes while you explore with your expert guide. Along the way, you'll pause for sundowners at a scenic spot in the bush.

After your first thrilling wildlife adventure, return to your luxurious lodge for a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2: Sanbona Wildlife Reserve to Cape Town – South Africa

We're up before sunrise to experience the magical early morning hours of the day when many of the animals and birds are most active. Set off on a dawn game drive or nature walk with your knowledgeable guide. Savor the opportunity to learn about the local fauna and flora from your expert guide as you go in search of the fascinating animals found in Sanbona Wildlife Reserve.

After our morning's adventure out in the bush, a delicious breakfast is served back at your lodge. Then it's time to say goodbye to the wild Karoo and check out. Keep a look out for any final wildlife sightings as you transfer back to the central lounge where the shuttle collects you. From there, you are transferred back to the Mother City where this short Cape Town Safari to Sanbona Wildlife Reserve comes to a close.
