Travel Highlight:
Your 10-Day Namibia Tribes Camping Safari begins with an early collection from your Windhoek accommodation, followed by a short pre-departure meeting. Traveling north, pass through Otjiwarongo village to pick up supplies and enjoy a picnic lunch along the way.
Once entering Etosha National Park, enjoy a game drive spotting the park's diverse wildlife. Etosha National Park is dominated by a salt pan, so vast that it is visible from space. It is home to abundant wildlife, often encountered at the waterholes dotting the dry terrain. Thirsty animals, from elephants, black rhinos, lions, and giraffes, are drawn to the waters, and flamingos arrive after the rains.
After setting up camp at Halali Rest Camp, dinner will be prepared over the campfire. Enjoy evening visits to the rest camp's floodlit waterhole, often frequented by elephants, black rhinos, and many other species.
Travel Highlight:

On the morning of Day 3, a lodge guide will introduce you to the daily life, customs, and traditions of the Ovambo people during a homestead tour, with visits to local homes and community interactions. After lunch, optional activities include clay pot making, farming demonstrations, a dance and drum experience, or a donkey cart ride. Dinner will be prepared over the campfire by your guide.
