Ngorongoro Game Viewing Safaris

Our Tanzania and Ngorongoro Crater Safaris explore the crater's forests inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the savannah plains where lions roam and the crater's lake area, home to numerous bird species, including flamingos. The vast bowl of Ngorongoro is considered home to Africa's highest density of mammalian predators and is host to a staggering population of around 25 000 big animals. Ngorongoro, the largest unbroken and un-flooded caldera in the world, hosts Africa's Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino) as well as several other wildlife species including hippo, zebra, gazelle, warthog and eland. On our wildlife safaris we descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, some 2000 feet (over 600 meters) for half-day or full-day game viewing adventures in this unique wildlife sanctuary.
