That said, it is worth knowing that Zimbabwe’s two distinct seasons mean the water levels in the Zambezi River fluctuate dramatically throughout the year, as they are hugely affected by the seasonal rains. The Zambezi’s waters are highest towards the end of Zimbabwe’s wet season, which is between February and April.
