Feedback on our Budget Kenya Safari

This is what Lisa and her family experienced on their Budget Kenya Lodge Safari booked as a private tour through African Budget Safaris earlier in 2021.

Our Kenya safari was absolutely amazing and far exceeded our expectations! And, the number of animals we were able to view closely on the trip was incredible.

We were met by Maria who warmly greeted us at the airport along with the driver. She took us to the Boma Hotel where she explained and briefed us on our Kenya Safari and the important information we needed to know before starting.

She met us the following morning with Mustafa who also greeted us warmly and with much enthusiasm for our week-long African safari!

We thoroughly enjoyed each park and the lodges we stayed at; we were truly amazed at our surroundings and the staff who eagerly and kindly waited on us. Each day we were more excited and could hardly wait to set out on a game drive with Mustafa.

Mustafa was an excellent guide who made sure we were comfortable on the game drives, explained the day's itinerary, and kept us supplied with water. We loved the metal water bottles you provided :)

The level of desire to show us the beauty of each park and see as much wildlife as possible was evident as Mustafa planned each day. We appreciated that he shared about the area as we drove to the next park and gave us the opportunity to ask questions.

He was very knowledgeable about the animals and their habitat along with the names so we could check them off in the book provided to keep a record of what we saw on the safari.

Maria then met us on the last day and helped us with shopping for Kenya coffee and tea and checked with us about our Kenya safari trip. We also appreciated her help with some covid testing issues as we continued on our trip the next day to Uganda. She even followed up with us to make sure we got to our next destination okay.

We did enjoy the Carnivore restaurant and the atmosphere was quite unique.

Final feedback from Lisa to African Budget Safaris

...thanks again for answering the many questions and emails prior to the trip.

We definitely would recommend your safari company to others taking a trip to Kenya.

Kenya Safari Travel Tips from Lisa

Let customers know that it would be helpful to bring $1 and $5 dollar USD money to tip the staff at the lodges as it was difficult to get smaller bills at any of the lodges.

Being aware that you need to get money at an ATM along the way before the lodges since there was none available there. I brought a specific card that worked well with the ABSA banks and knowing that ahead of time was helpful, as I had done some research.
